PROTEASE INHIBITORS
Norvir® (ritonavir) tablets and oral solution are prescription medicines each used with other antiviral medicines to treat people with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV-1) infection. Norvir® (ritonavir) oral powder is a prescription medicine that is used with other antiviral medicines to treat children with HIV-1 infection.
Rescriptor tablets contain delavirdine mesylate, a synthetic non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI) of the human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1).
ENTRY INHIBITORS
Fuzeon is a medicine called an HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) fusion inhibitor. Fuzeonis always used with other anti-HIV medicines to treat adults and children ages 6 - 16 years with HIV infection. Fuzeon blocks HIV's ability to infect healthy CD4 cells. When used with other anti-HIV medicines, Fuzeon can reduce the amount of HIV in the blood and increase the number of CD4 cells. This may keep your immune system healthy, so it can help fight infection.
MULTI-CLASS COMBINATIONS
Atripla® is a prescription medication that can be used alone as a complete regimen, or in combination with other anti-HIV-1medicines, to treat HIV-1 in patients who weigh at least 40 kg (88 lbs).
